Give the gift of fullness
Your donation can be a lifeline for a child in poverty
The Issues of Children in Poverty
Imagine trying to survive without everyday essentials like food, water or shelter? For most children in Africa, that is the reality of struggle and burden every minute of their lives. Hunger is a complicated problem without a simple solution. NNF believe children and youth cannot thrive in other areas of their life while suffering from food deprivation.
What your generosity powers
Your gift of fullness gives children everything they need to succeed. Your generosity and support to our nutritional food box, clothing and products programs will help us deliver hope and vision to children in poverty. We sort, store and ship your goods to make sure they have the biggest impact in a child’s life. Every time you donate to Nature and Nurture Foundation, you are creating employment for someone in the community. Providing employment training, job skills and additional opportunity to help others.

Our organization is dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth living in poverty by providing support and empowerment through strategic partnerships and operations. Over the next six years, we will focus on achieving our vision, purpose, and key goals to make a significant and long-lasting impact.
Our first project will be located in Accra, Ghana, and with the financial contributions from you and other institutions, we aim to construct The Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Community Center of Resurgence in the city. This facility will serve as the main headquarters in the country to communicate with our partners and other institutions worldwide. It will feature amenities such
as a food bank, library, clinic, and more.
Ghana is one of the fastest developing nations in West Africa, but poverty is still a major issue in the country. Despite significant economic progress, many families still struggle to make ends meet, with one setback like unexpected healthcare costs or poor weather during the growing season pushing them back into poverty. Based on the latest United Nation data, the population of Ghana is roughly 32.5 million. 56.7% living in rural areas, and 29% of the workforce employed in agriculture.
Sadly, it has been estimated that 13% or more of people live on less than $2.00 per day. Through our efforts, we hope to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need, and with your support, we can achieve our mission to create lasting change.
The proposed plan for the Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Community Center of Resurgence, an initiative by the Nature and Nurture Foundation, is to construct a modern, functional, and sustainable building in Accra, Ghana. The facility will be located on a 2.5- acre lot of land, which will include parking lots to provide ample parking for visitors. The facility will house a food bank, clinic, library, gymnasium, administrative department, donation dropoff department, and other amenities to serve the community.
The building will incorporate natural light and ventilation to provide a comfortable environment for its users. The building materials will be sourced locally to support the community and
promote sustainability. The building will be designed to be energy efficient and equipped with solar panels to generate
renewable energy.
The facility will be community oriented and will promote volunteerism and community involvement. All serving departments, including the food bank, clinic, library, gymnasium, administrative department, and donation drop-off department, will have volunteers to support the staff. Volunteers will help with tasks such as tutoring children in the library, sorting and distributing donated food items in the food bank, and assisting with patient care in the clinic.
The Nature and Nurture Foundation’s commitment to this project will make a significant positive impact on the community and serve as a model for future development projects. The Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Community Center of Resurgence will promote community participation, encourage social responsibility, and build a sense of community ownership. It will also offer opportunities for personal and professional development for volunteers, while at the same time, helping the staff to deliver quality services to the community
